Hello and welcome to Popcorn Perspectives, my little corner of the internet!
My names Annie, and I am beyond thrilled to be the creator and voice behind Popcorn Perceptions. I’m a dreamer from Pickering, Ontario. I have always loved the film, television and entertainment industry! I followed my dreams and completed a bachelor’s degree from Toronto Metropolitan University’s RTA School of Media in media production! During my time at RTA, I learned the ins and outs of the industry and the importance of meaningful and impactful storytelling.
I created Popcorn Perspective as a passion project, blending my love for writing with my passion for showcasing media with meaning. My goal with Popcorn Perspectives is to showcase television series, films, creators and creatives who have chosen to tackle important underrepresented stories, topics and issues. I strive to create a space where film, television and entertainment fans can learn about and feel inspired to watch new shows and films with meaningful messaging at Popcorn Perceptions!
